GREEN PRAJIOUD – MUAY THAI LEVEL 2
Designed to prepare a student for amateur competition.
This test has been developed as the second step to achieving the highest level of achievement in the art of Muay Thai in accordance with the Muay Thai Institute of Thailand and Kwest Kickboxing.
If the student fails the first test, the second attempt will cost $50.00. If upon the second attempt the student does not pass he/she must train for a minimum of 3 months before testing again. The Kru will design a program to work on the student's weaknesses and help him/her have a stronger performance in the next testing attempt.
Details of the Test:
- The test will take approximately 2 - 3 hour
- Can be done in private or in front of a group
- This test is being reviewed by Master Amnauy and may be subject to change.
- Student must receive a passing mark of 80%
- There will be 3 -10 instructors and/or students assisting in the test
- Using a small amount of Thai oil, the student must do an allergy test a few days prior to the test
- There will be a $10.00 charge to pay for tape, gauze, and Thai oil.

Thai Massage and Stretch (optional)
Student will receive a Thai Fight massage to prepare for the test. This massage relaxes and then stimulates the muscle groups and blood flow to prepare the student for a vigorous training session run (10 min)

Cast Hand (optional)
Student will get hands cast for competition (20:00 min)

Cardio
6.5km in 38 min or less or 40 minutes of skipping. This run will be done outdoors if weather permits.

Shadow Boxing
1 x 3 min round of shadow boxing (3:00 min)

Flexibility
3 consecutive kicks with 'either' leg above 'your' shoulder level within 1 minute. The technical aspects of the Muay Thai round kick will be graded as well. (3:00 min)

Bag Work
1 x 3 min on the bag executing all the weapons (3:00 min total time)

Strength - Core and Upper Body
Males:
10 minutes – pushup, sit-ups, squats
- 10 consecutive minutes of all 3 exercises done in set of 20 reps
- sit-ups will be done with either the Kru standing on stomach or with the Kru hitting stomach with Thai pad.
Females:
10 minutes – pushup, sit-ups, squats
- 10 consecutive minutes of all 3 exercises done in set of 15 reps
- sit-ups will be done with either the Kru standing on stomach or with the Kru hitting stomach with Thai pad.

**Three Man Drill – 3 rounds x 3 min each - of clinching, punching, kicks (10:00 min total time)
During the course of a 3 min round the student will be paired with a different Kru for each segment
30 sec punching - power and speed
10 sec rest
30 sec Kicking - power and speed
20 sec rest
1.5 min Clinching - clinching
The student will work on clinching with one Kru, punches with another Kru, and kicks with a third Kru.

Free Format Pad Work - 4 rounds x 3 min each of free format on the pads (18:00 min total time)
All weapons will be used, a Kru will be the pad holder, 2 minute breaks between rounds

50 cut kicks with each leg on tire (6:00 min)
