New Instructor – Jeremy Grieve

We are excited to have Jeremy teaching classes for us – passing on the knowledge he has gained in combat sports to our up and coming fighter’s. While actively fighting Jeremy will be teaching our Fight Team on a regular basis.

Jeremy(27) started training and competing in Kyokushin Karate 9 years ago and is currently pursuing his black belt with a current Green with Brown Stripe status. Coming to Kwest approximately 8 years ago Jeremy added boxing and Muay Thai training to his already full schedule of school and Kyokushin. Jeremy’s traditional background in martial arts had an immediate impact on other students, he exhibited respect and complete dedication to learning a new art form.  Jeremy was anxious to compete in Muay Thai and has fought as much as he could while attending High School and now University. With a record of 5-4 in modified Muay Thai many of Jeremy’s fights were with much more experienced competitors. His last win was against an opponent with 30+ fights in Boxing and Muay Thai. For the past 3 years Jeremy has also been training with Curtis Brigham from Wamma while continuing to train in Muay Thai & Kyokushin, and while attending University and holding down a part time job!

We are very proud to have Jeremy at our club, we’ve seen him literally grow up from a young man to an adult, he exemplifies our values and has a strong work ethic and set of skills which will be beneficial to all our students.
